Berlin: The Wall OLX

Berlin, Germany

  • 40 US dollars
  • Teletour

Service Description

Checkpoint Charlie was one of the Berlin border crossings through the Berlin Wall between 1961 and 1990. It linked the Soviet with the US sector and with it East Berlin with West Berlin. The checkpoint was set up by the Western Allies in August / September 1961 as a result of the construction of the Wall, in order to enable members of their military personnel to continue crossing the sector boundary, whereby they were registered and instructed. Controls of all other visitors to East Berlin, as everywhere on the western side, did not take place at Checkpoint Charlie. Ask questions or listen in!

If you are booking for more than 2 people physically present with you, buy additional tickets for all viewers present with you. Teletours can be on-location or off-site with pictures, depending on weather, local time and conditions. All sales are final. For cancellations and rescheduling contact customer service. If approved, refunds will include the ticket price less the Teletourguide.com fees (which consists of the payment processing fee and the service fee combined).
